Broadway Dental Makes Room for More Smiles

DENISON — Broadway Dental is well underway with an extensive remodel and expansion designed to facilitate their growth and create a more positive experience for patients, say Dr.'s Ryan Bygness and Doug Soseman. The remodel will include a major facelift and more square feet, but the clinic is using the opportunity to focus on bringing more polish to the entire patient experience.

For the most part, Broadway Dental will continue business as usual as the improvements are made. When all is complete by the summer of 2011, major changes should be noticeable from the street: a wider façade composed mainly of glass, as well as stone facing, sections of stucco, modern steel awnings and a custom-formed sign. Inside, the plans allow more comfort for patients and a more conducive workspace for dental staff. The addition of approximately 5,000 sq. ft will open up space for a larger reception area with more seating, a larger business office, two private patient meeting rooms, a larger break room, and three new operatory rooms, with room for an additional three in the future. New digital X-ray machines emit lower radiation, while a zoned climate control should provide more comfort.

"For us on the inside, this is about more than a nice, new office," Dr. Soseman said. "We're also looking at business as a whole and asking how we can elevate the level of care our patients receive while they're here." Part of that means listening directly to the patients through frequent email surveys to patients, then putting the results to work to deliver a more positive experience. Dr. Bygness agrees. "Our recent growth has really got us fired up to keep moving forward. Our goal is to create a place where people actually like coming to the dentist."
