Broadway Dental Celebrates Dr. Bock's One Year Anniversary

DENISON, IA – Denison's leading dental clinic is celebrating one year with their newest doctor on staff. Kristi Ouderkirk-Bock, D.D.S. began working alongside Drs. Doug Soseman and Ryan Bygness last summer as the clinic's third full-time dentist, helping provide professional care to Broadway Dental's growing patient base. Dr. Bock gained CEREC certification during the past year, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Bock's fellow doctors and peers held a lunch this month to celebrate the anniversary. "Kristi has proven to be an indispensable part of our team during this short time," said Dr. Doug Soseman. "We're looking forward to many more years with her serving Broadway Dental patients." Dr. Bock says she has learned a lot about patient communication and getting to know each patient based on their individual wants and needs. She also says she couldn't be happier having her home in Denison. "Not only has Broadway Dental been very good to me, but I've learned that this is an awesome community. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, from the schools to our neighbors. Our daughters have made friends very quickly and I think that says something about the friendly people here, " said Dr. Bock.

Into the next year, Dr. Bock wants to keep finding new opportunities for continued education and giving back, like the Iowa Mission of Mercy, which provides free dental care over a two day period to those in need. The Broadway Dental doctors have been part of this charitable event for the past few years. "I never want to stop learning," said Dr. Bock. "It's important to me to always keep growing as a dentist, and I'm happy to work with others that agree."
